Country Homemaker Hop #29

Welcome Friends!
Last week's hop included some really great posts once again.  Let's revisit a few of them, in no particular order.

It's summertime, and it's been HOT around our place so this wonderful recipe HERE for "real food ice pops" shared by The Real Food Forager just might hit the spot.  I love her recipe!  Now, I need to find myself an immersion blender...

It's time to start thinking about how to put up all those tomatoes again and a few ladies even linked up posts demonstrating how they do it (Thank you ladies! My tomatoes aren't quite ready yet, but your tutorials will sure come in handy soon).  Barb of the Frugal Local Kitchen shared her recipe for canning tomatoes  HERE and Patsy of A Working Pantry shared how she cans tomatoes too HERE.

The Healthy Frugalista shared a great post HERE entitled Tip to Cut Meat Costs about sprouting lentils and adding them in dishes to either replace or supplement meat.  Lentils are delicious and good for you too.  This is a great idea for helping extend your dollar while ensuring your family eats well.

Well, THANK YOU you to everyone that was able to find the time to share your wonderful ideas with us.  I enjoyed reading every link this last week and I took some notes too.  I look forward to reading this week's posts too.
